I've read some of the reviews for this movie and its starting to tick me off. Some of the reasons people are saying they didn't like it are just plain stupid. I won't mention all but here are few things I have read.
First off, if you don't like Indiana Jones altogether, why did you go see the movie?
Second, You have to remember Harrison Ford isn't exactly young anymore. So quit complaining about that. I've seen that in certain reviews and its stupid. People age, get over it.
Third, its a MOVIE!!!!!!!! It doesn't have to fit every historical fact. It can be fictional. People can survive things they normally wouldn't, like hiding in a fridge during a nuclear blast and being blown about a mile away in it. Lots of action movies have scenes in them where in real life, you would not survive. People who complain about this are dorks. Plain and Simple.
Fourth, and this really ticked me off, there is going to be some explanations of stuff like lost tribes and translations of ancient languages. If your complaining about that then clearly you haven't seen the other 3 movies. He does talk about that kind of the thing. I thought the explanations in this one were relatively short compared to some in the previous three movies. So if your complaining about that. go watch the other three and get over yourself.
I can understand that people are not going to like the movie and that's their choice but really, if your going to give bad reviews, at least argue something reasonable that doesn't make you sound like a moron. And remember, Its just a movie.
I personally loved the movie. I loved the fact that they brought back some of the original characters and even mentioned some of the others like Marcus and Senior Henry Jones. It was even better that Harrison Ford was able to portray Indiana Jones like he did in the other three movies, right down to the facial expressions and stances.
The fight that continues between Marian and Indiana really helps bring the Raiders of the Lost Ark into mind. So did the chest that was accidentally exposed when fleeing the military warehouse at the beginning. And the Snake bit was a nice touch.
The fridge scene in the nuclear blast was hilarious. Poor Indy.

Finally, its summer. No more school for two monthes. Joy!
Haven't been on here in a while, so yeah.
My grandfather passed away on the 28 of April, two days after my birthday. Very sad time but the family's doing okay now.
Didn't have to write any final for this final semester. *Happy Dance*
I was looking at my schedule for next year...all my sciences (chem, bio, physics) are all in my second semester....the textbooks are going to kill me. First semester isn't two bad except for the gym six times a week but I can deal with that. Just need to get out more often.....and get a little color to my skin so I'm not cologate total anymore.

Been awhile since I posted.......a long while.
Anyway, got a couple of interesting things going on here.
On April 4 I'm heading to Europe. Myself and a few other students form my school and LCI are heading there to celebrate the anniversary of Vimy. There's going to be alot of people there. We also get to tour London and Paris and then we return on the 14. I am so excited. *Does weird dance*
It will be my first time on a plane to. I was okay with it at first until SOMEONE started talking about crashing into the ocean, where we would be on rafts for awhile compared to crashing on land where the plane would blow up. Not a very pleasing thought but I still want a window seat.
Then there is what to bring. My mother is limiting my book supply *cry* so that I won't be reading the whole trip. As if I would.
Anyway, I'll update again next week or so.

I hate these things btu they must be done.
1. Actually finish writing a story.
2. Transfer over to a different sector at work.
3. Have more confidence in school. Do not make a fool of self...such as in science.
4. Try to cut back on buying books. Or get another bookshelf to hold them all.
5.Try to bring mark up in math...probably not going to happen but I can try.....teach will probably fail me anyway.
6. Do not freak out while getting on plane to go to Paris
7. Do not make complete fool of self while in Paris.

Wonderful, 7 resolutions. The only one that will come true is probably #2. Now I must go and update my story....I ahve to get at least half of it done.

Math class has got to be the most boring subject ever but she gives us so much homework.....I do so not get these radical thingies. *sigh* If only we could have stuck with the simple stuff.
English is good and so is science. Art is pretty good to...when I can actually draw.
Well, anyway, this was fun..no really, it was. I had a blast. Yeah...

Well, I had my first week of school. It was alright I guess. I'm just glad I already knew all the teachers I have from last year, except my science and art teacher. Otherwise all is good. I have to read To Kill A Mocking Bird. I think I enjoyed the movie more than I will the book though. Read chapters 1-7 for homework though. Should be fairly easy.
Ouran High School Host Club episode 22 isn't in subtitles yet. Argh. I need to see. Also, the Chapters here doesn't have volume 7 of Host Club yet. So sad.
On another note, my grandpa has been to the hospital and they have decreed that he will only live another 1-2 years. We are all very sad but at least this gives us more time to hang out with him and that's all that matters at the moment.

Its so Sad. Steve Irwin the Crocodile Hunter died. He was stung by a stingray in the heart while filming a documentary in the Great Barrier Reef. He has left behind his wife Terri and his two children, Bob and Bindi. I loved his show. He was such a great guy and I bet a lot of people are going to miss him. He did a lot of good things and unlike other people he didn't do his documentaries and zoo shows for money but to show people that Crocs and other animals are dangerous but are misunderstood as well.
Steve, you will be missed.

Yay! My busy week is over. I only work three times this upcoming week........but a I have to go back to school. Didn't think about that. Why must summer end so soon.
I got a kick out of some of the guys at work today. Not only are they lazy but they had to use a cart to collect baskets. It easier just to go grab them yourself, carry them to the basket drop off/ pick up place and go back. It was so funny.
More news on my grandpa, the doctors are only giving him 1-2 years at best. We may end up taking in his dog.

My grandpa is the hospital. He was admitted today after they did tests the other day. He had blood clots and could have cancer in lungs. My mom's eyes are watery and she never cries so I know it is bad. He is trail for at least a week but they may airlift him to Kelowna.

Uh Oh! My grandpa has bone cancer. If anyone knows about the stem cell treatments and what cancers they are used on can you leave a message, it would really help me out because I can't find it. Thanks.
In other news...I got the book! Finally. New Moon! HA HA, yes, I waited monthes for this. The only thing is that Becky at the store is going to kill me for buying at Chapters instead of the store. This is where lying comes in handy.
One last note *clears throat* My backpack is PURPLE not PINK! Thank you
